What Customers Say About World of Warcraft Master Guide, Second Edition:

For more advanced information that is kept up to date I would suggest a dynamic guide like the one found on http://www.hiddenstuff.com/ Honestly, the information is well portrayed and organized however, most of it is beginner info and very basic.
They need to come out with a new one thanks to the huge changes this last update brought. It was a good reference until the last 3.1 update. I can still use it to check out which areas to go to at which level and look up little info like certain bosses and quests.
This isn't for me. I'm still on the look out for a good compainion with World of Warcraft for a semi-experienced player. I want more raid strategies and heroic instance tips. Not too impressed with this guide. :( Although they are mainly targeted towards completely new players. It has some helpful hints in it. For example how to decide on a race/class.
The biggest problem is that much of it is out of date due to constant updates. This book isn't as concise as I would have liked. It does have a significant amount of information, but as a player most of it was useless to me.
I gave it two stars because I was at least able to use some of the maps. I didn't find this book to be formatted in a useful way. There was no logic to the layout, and as a newbie to the game, I found it difficult to find the information I needed.
